Research into the chosen genre/ Generic Conventions of Indie Pop

 

In order to have a better understanding of our music genre we carried out some research into the history of Indie Pop as well as the generic conventions included in this genre.

This research will help with our own music video as we know what we need to include to make it suitable for our genre and audience. Also it will give us inspiration and idea for our own music video and its narrative and visual presentation.

 

For our music video, we have chosen the song Grow Old With Me by Tom Odell, other artists who are of the Indie Pop genre include:
