Iris Records

For our magazine adverts, I designed a logo for Iris Records, our independent record label who is distributing our digipak (Iris productions will produce our music video). The reason the text colour is in purple is because Iris is a shade of purple and it stands out quite a lot to the audience who will see it. The font is in bold and italic text and is in capital letters. This is to also make the logo stand out to the audience and make the independent record label more recognisable and popular to the target audience. Next to the work Iris there is a small picture of an Iris flower. This flower is on its own on the logo and not surrounded by other flowers which connotes that it is an independent company and alone without funding of other companies. The reason I put an Iris flower on this post is because it supports the name Iris Records.
