Tom Odell - Grow Old With Me
Girl gets home from work after a long day to a candle lit dinner from her partner, camera goes into his eye to show his thoughts for the future, different shots of him admiring her whilst she sleeps, then of them old with grandchildren, of them at the park enjoying a picnic. There will also be performance shots of him lip synching the song and playing the piano. The camera then fades out of his thoughts for the future and he has proposed to his girlfriend.
This song/ artist will work well for us because we both like the genre indie pop. By using this genre it will allow us to use simple settings, dark clothing and props that will be easier to find. This song of Tom Odell's is particularly good for us because it allows our music video to have a strong narrative which we would like to have about love. As Tom Odell is 24 himself he is of the age which suits the storyline which we would like in our narrative as many people get engaged at this stage in the life cycle and we can then use someone of about this age in our music video to act as Tom Odell.
