Props used in our Music Video- Erin

For our music video we used a variety of props to help with the narrative, make our music video look professional and to show that we had planned and organised every detail in our music video.

The first prop used in our music video is a key bowl with keys similar to the image shown. We chose to use this type of basket in our music video to create a nice homely feeling and to make it obvious that when the female walks in the house she is not going back our and is putting her keys away.



Another prop that we are going to use in our music video is tea lights. We have decided to use these in the romantic meal scene as they will help to give us the correct and appropriate lighting to match the setting of our scene.

In our music video we are also going to use a brown fleece blanket, this will be an important prop for our music video as it is going to be used to match to the lyrics of the song. In our music video we will see our actor pulling the blanket over the girl in time with the line " I'll pull the sheets when it's old on your feet".

The photo frame is also another important prop that will be used in our music video as it is going to help show the growth of the couple in our music by highlighting the differnt picture of them as they grow old together.

The next prop that will be used in our music video is a piano similar to the one shown. This prop will be used to show performance shots from our artist in order to ensure that our music video contains a mixture of narrative and live performance. 

We are using a make-up table and mirror in our music video in order to gain a more unique shot of the actresses reflection instead of the actual actress herself. This will help us to show a diversity of shots in our music video. 

The picnic blanket will be used in our music video to help set the scene when they are at the park. The picnic blanket will show that they are having a nice, relaxing, romantic meal rather than just sitting in a park.
